those people analysis every tiny mini thing
the key word here is SEGMENTATION
voters by age, sex, eduction, income, race, religion, ....etc
and some segments are very significant : church attendance, Have Any Investments in Stock Market, Union Member, .. etc
they asked the voters important questions: one of them is "what are the most issues?" and 63% of the voters said it's economic when 9% said it's terrorism
pay attention that, the results on CNN website were published before 9AM Wednesday (that's when i checked it) and the counting was still going on some stats even after declaring the win of Obama
so it means that they build these results in 0 time, people just finished voting and already the result is on
OMG
this is not government organization, it's a news channel. it has the capability and the resources to do this huge surveys and data analysis.

P.S: i'm not going to even think about comparing with the egyptian election voters details

how individual do a positive action to enhance the society
just an actor invited some actors friends to do a couple of minutes video to spread awareness about voting right
and again, it's a clear demo of how deep the media effects people action
after the election ends, when the voters number will be announced, we'll find out how this kind of propaganda did

i had to go back and forward and move between the pages many times to make sure that what i've notice is true

what i 'd like is the new style of this fraud emails:

nothing about my bank account till now: i guess they want to win my trust first

Community against insults

couple of days ago, we were @ one of our friends house where you can do all in the same time in one big room
lol
THEY WERE CHIT_CHATING, I WAS WATCHING OPRAH
the episode was on fire, the issue was:
how we should react after the insult made by a hip hop star to black women?
at first, i thought: they must be joking!!, all the hip hop songs or movies with black gangs stories are filled with insults, the worest in the dictionary
what are they going to do about that??
and the bomb was:
priest, writers, singers, college students, basically everyone and anyone in lot of USA stats are making lot of actions to stop this
the oprah show was about the use of certain names when dressing a black woman !!!!!!!
this subject took from oprah 2 episods to deal with it 17/4 & 16/4
some of the guests were so polite not to use the words and refered to it using the first letter "the N word", others use it
why i was so interested in watching this and not to chit chat with my friends
1- because i'm a good girl of course :)
2- because i wasn't believing that this about the use of words in conversation not about any act of violence,
the guests talked about how the use of these words hurt the black women soul and this istimulate actions of violence against them
i was wondering can we do the same here, making a public conversation about how is hurting to hear words that offense a sex or religion
the conversation in oprah expanded to talk about the culture, the racism, the music
at the end, all is connected, hurting a woman by calling her a name is going to lead to a war where every one lose
this concept is truely deep and high to be understood by all
this episods were worth watching

- this made me remember a job i had for a week, i didn't have a chair to sit on. the company was in 1 room appartment with 5 chairs, if the manager is with a client in a meeting i had to go out waiting standing
- another place i went to apply for a job, but thank god i left running

next day 2 cases were all over the news

1- a young college student killed 2 other students and then get back to his room and took lot of time to take pictures of himself, record a video message, send the tape to NBC
AND later he went out his room to kill 30 more and injured 30 others

100 years of solitude

Just finish reading this book last night


It's about a family story along 100 years, they all have one thing in common: they died suffering from solitude or at least they spend parts of their lives in solitude.


The author (Gabriel García Márquez) won a Nobel prize, so it was so tempting to read this story.


BuT, i can summary this story in one word "Surprise"

In the first 4 chapters, i was surprised in every new page by the new characters they step in the story: About 30 characters.
while reading the story, i had to go back some pages to recall the entrance of this character or that lots of time.
Another surprise: the relations
unreasonable, un acceptable relations between the family members

After closing the book i had a big question in my head: what's this mean?? what kind of solitude do we suffer from?
I think this novel needs some time after reading to think more about it
