I HATE OCCASSIONS
yeah
i hate the 2 weeks before christmas and easter
i know this sounds nonsense and more it sounds atheistic
but heh please
think about it for a second
before every occassion we HAVE to take some GREAT decisions:
what to wear
what to eat
where to go
whom to call
what to prepare
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
and the list go on and on
and finally when the it happens
when finally we are ON the day
all the efforts made before seems unusefull
on the day just before the occassion every time i have a nearly nervous break down
- it's 7.30 am i have to do 1, 2, .... 25
i still got time
- it's 12 pm i finished 1,2,3 and still have 22 things to do
i have to hurry up
- it's 3pm i finished 1 to 10 still have 15 things to do and discovered another 7 things i forget about it
OH MY GOD
- it's 5pm i managed to finish 20 things only
well that's it
i'm not doing anything more (@#$!%$^$%&^&)
i didn't get all the things done yet and i'm not going to cry
same scenario every feast
so much pressure and in the middle of it we miss the occassion itself
celebrating the birth or the Resurrection of Jesus Christ
of course the effort made for these days is because how special these days are
BUT
- wondering in the streets for days trying to find something REASONABLE to wear and not (quote from my friend christine: lebss elmomaselat dah)
can cause more then a nervous break down :)
