Happy Zalantine Day
yes Zalantine not Valantine
and i have my reasons
first: what's the valentine day?
as in wikipedia, it's about a priest that helped young couples to get married despite the empror law (the empror was convinced that married soldiers are not good soldiers)
so BASICALLY
he helped people in love to have LEGITIMATE relationship
second: what's the zalantine day?
as in college campus: boys come in the morning holding red (hearts, roses, bears) and other gifts and girls are wearing all red,
by the afternoon, the gifts are moved to the red dressed girls
by the evening, streets and cafes are full of couples who are spending all the day together
ok, this is cute BUT
they are kids playing these game, having a bf/ gf to spend the zalantine day with
THAT IS IT
in the zalantine day, teenagers and college students couples are all over the city and next year they'll celebrate the z day with another partner
it's like the (scopido) fever, happened when we were in preparatory school: every boy and girl have scopido colored tapes in hands and create shapes with it (in school, streets, tram, wahtever) we were not thinking clearly, what we 'll do with all this scopidos shapes?
and SUDDANLY
the fever was cold out
it become an old trend
and we forget about scopido and forget the colored weared shapes we were doing and challenge each other with
the zalantine day is too much like the scopido
people are doing it just because other are doing it
is love exsist once a year?
are people in love needs a celebration to express their feelings to their partners?
are all the couples who were booking all the cafes truly in love?
I DOUBT IT
if all those people were in love why the court is full?
at the end of the day i heared something really amazing
a friend of mine told me that her father brought them a nice meal from a good restaurant, her mother brought chocolate to all the family and she exchanged gifts with her sister
THAT's LOVE
