couple of days ago, we were @ one of our friends house where you can do all in the same time in one big room
lol
THEY WERE CHIT_CHATING, I WAS WATCHING OPRAH
the episode was on fire, the issue was:
how we should react after the insult made by a hip hop star to black women?
at first, i thought: they must be joking!!, all the hip hop songs or movies with black gangs stories are filled with insults, the worest in the dictionary
what are they going to do about that??
and the bomb was:
priest, writers, singers, college students, basically everyone and anyone in lot of USA stats are making lot of actions to stop this
the oprah show was about the use of certain names when dressing a black woman !!!!!!!
this subject took from oprah 2 episods to deal with it 17/4 & 16/4
some of the guests were so polite not to use the words and refered to it using the first letter "the N word", others use it
why i was so interested in watching this and not to chit chat with my friends
1- because i'm a good girl of course :)
2- because i wasn't believing that this about the use of words in conversation not about any act of violence,
the guests talked about how the use of these words hurt the black women soul and this istimulate actions of violence against them
i was wondering can we do the same here, making a public conversation about how is hurting to hear words that offense a sex or religion
the conversation in oprah expanded to talk about the culture, the racism, the music
at the end, all is connected, hurting a woman by calling her a name is going to lead to a war where every one lose
this concept is truely deep and high to be understood by all
this episods were worth watching

i have a friend who's newely married

he met his girl and proposed since ... ever i think .. i don't remember

they were engaged for 4 years i guess

and finally the long waited marriage was 2 weeks ago

- this made me remember a job i had for a week, i didn't have a chair to sit on. the company was in 1 room appartment with 5 chairs, if the manager is with a client in a meeting i had to go out waiting standing
- another place i went to apply for a job, but thank god i left running
the company was one room in a managerial building where the owner sleeps and works

Killing &Spying

I was wondering is life cruel? or we are?
next day 2 cases were all over the news

1- a young college student killed 2 other students and then get back to his room and took lot of time to take pictures of himself, record a video message, send the tape to NBC
AND later he went out his room to kill 30 more and injured 30 others

2- They have arrested an Egyptian engineer from the country's nuclear energy agency for spying for Israel.

Did those people think that life is cruel and this did justify the killing and spying acts?

yesterday (as most of the days) i was hanging out with my friends, variety group, we are all girls but we aren't the same
what holding us together is the good relation we have and the history we share
suddnely, an old friend from college appeared from no where
and i mean it
there was knocking on a door .. and there she was
ZOMBIE
she was walking with closed eyes, her face was telling a clear message "I NEED TO SLEEP"
i felt happy to see her, sorry for her, million questions jumped oin my head
i call out her name, she approached and salut me
what happened next, made me think and think and think about ME, MYLIFE, ....
we were 4 friends in college, we were always together, we did spent lot of time in each other homes
and NOW
i know nothing about them, in fact i know about the one who lives abroad now more then the 2 who still live in alex
crazy?????
is life cruel? or we are?
this friend (i don't know why i still call her friend anymore) i saw her once a year by accident and lives not far from me
is this normal?
even if we weren't true friends, at least we were college colleagues

she told me this:" Oh, u r free to go whenever wherever u want, i'm not, my son doesn't give me a chance to do anything, I envy you"
this was a bomb she put it on my head and left
as i remember she was the kids girl, she could left us (adult) to play with kids even if she doesn't know them
NOW, she told me this !!!!!

i wonder who else of my friend become a zombie because of kids or work or whatever
last night, was shocking: i remembered a list i wrote it while i was in college, list of friends
NOW, i lost contact with 80% of them, and got others as friends
this is life????
as i was telling a cousin before: by time, the paths will separete, your's and your friends, today you are always together, tomorrow who knows ?
